Mike Ogle For Larry to stay within the confines of a single note's pitch on his song Ocean Raga' is like holding back the Pacific Ocean. Creating a sonic tapestry for the listener to relax to' is just one variation among many that I know he's capable of doing. I’ve heard him play in the style of Keith Emerson, Tommy Mars and Tony Banks before, so I'm not too surprised at him doing this ambient one. It reminds me of the seasoned and gifted artist I know he is. Favorite track: Ocean Raga.

About "Kindred Souls"

This is pianist/composer Larry Kutcher's debut album for solo piano.
He is best known for his intensely personal solo piano work, balancing technical virtuosity with raw emotional expression.

Having been a session musician for over 20 years, playing, writing, and arranging on other artist’s albums, Larry decided it was time to release his own music.
Each of the album’s 10 tracks tells a personal story, an audio diary of the highly personal journey that led to this debut release.

That journey has been nine years in the making.
Larry first intended to release it in 2014, but then life took him on an unexpected roller coaster ride of one serious health crises after another.
As a result, he had to put it on hold for long periods of time.
Now fully renewed, Larry has finally realized his dream in the releasing of this album.
Each piece expresses a unique emotional and spiritual aspect of his nine year odyssey.
